Gilded console table with Norwegian marble top, c. 1755.

The table probably came to Jaegerspris Castle when it was furnished by Frederik VII’s grandfather, the heir presumptive Frederik (1753-1805), and was probably designed by the architect G.F. Rosenberg (1739-1788).
